About Adventure Racing
Adventure Racing (AR) is an endurance sport involving navigation with map and compass. Teams travel to checkpoints via trekking, mountain biking, and paddling. The team with the most checkpoints wins; in the event of a tie, the fastest time wins. No two races are alike—varying in duration, terrain, and difficulty—making it one of the most dynamic sports in the world.
